Why do I need my credit card number to book a room?

Your credit card is necessary to confirm the reservation, and is used as a guarantee of the reservation within the terms of our cancellation policy in case of a refundable rate, or to charge the booking in case of a pre-paid and non-refundable rate. Credit card details are used only in case of no-show or late cancellation for the first night.

Is the tourist tax included in the cost of my reservation?

No, the tourist tax of 5.50 € per person per night is not included and will be added to the room bill.

What pricing plans are available?

    Rate including breakfast, VAT, wi-fi with free cancellation. Credit card as guarantee, pay at checkout.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Cancellations made up to 7 days before arrival are free (by 2pm Italian time). For cancellations made 7 to 3 days before arrival, 70% of the total amount will be charged
For cancellations made within 2 days before arrival, no shows, early departures, any changes to the reservation after check-in, 100% of the total reservation will be charged.
It is not possible to cancel/modify the reservation made with the prepaid rate. The total amount of the stay may be charged at any time after the booking is confirmed. Prepaid bookings do not provide a refund of the sums paid.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check in is available from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm, while check out is by 11:00 am. If you have special needs, contact us and we will find a solution.

I will arrive in Florence before 2:00 p.m. Can I leave my luggage and come back later to check in?

Of course, we offer free luggage storage services which you can use both on arrival and departure days during reception opening hours.

I will be arriving very late, outside the normal check-in time. How can I access my room?

The reception is open until 8:00 p.m. In case of late arrival, contact our reception in advance and we will organize a special procedure for your independent access. Please specify this during the booking process.

We will arrive by car. Where can we park?

You can park your car at one of our partner garages. The parking request must be communicated at the time of booking or in any case later.
The price is for 24h, it varies according to the car model and is soldered directly to the Garage.

Is the Relais close to Santa Maria Novella station?

We will arrive by plane. What is the best way to reach the Relais Luce from the airport?

From the Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport, you can easily reach us with the new T2 tramline entering and leaving the tram at the two final stop, just outside the Terminal and in Piazza Dell’Unità (200 meters from Relais Luce Firenze), by taxi in 15/25 minutes or using the “Vola in Bus” shuttle that connects the airport to the Santa Maria Novella station.
If you land in Pisa, at the Galileo Galilei airport, you can reach the Santa Maria Novella station by shuttle bus or train in about 1.15 hours.

Is the Relais Luce in the center of Florence? Is it convenient for visiting the city on foot?

Yes, our B&B is in the historic centre, a few steps from the church of San Lorenzo and close to the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, and to the historic Florentine artisan streets.

Is breakfast included in the room rate?

La colazione è inclusa per le Tariffe Standard Rate e Non Refundable Rate, è a pagamento per la Tariffa Room Only (12€ a persona). Troverete un’ampia varietà di delizie selezionate tra i prodotti tipici del territorio, da godere all’aperto nella nostra terrazza panoramica o nella sala interna con comode poltroncine di design e un angolo libreria.
If you have an allergy to gluten or dairy products, or other dietary needs, please contact us in advance and we will try to arrange suitable alternatives for you.

How are the linen change and room cleaning services carried out?

The room rate includes daily cleaning and linen changed every three days.
If you like the daily change you can do it on request at an extra cost that you can consult directly in the information left in the room.

Do you accept pets?

Small and medium size pets are welcome. You will be charged an extra cost of 10 € per night.

Is smoking allowed in the rooms?

No. All rooms and common areas are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed only in the outdoor terrace.
